SLITZ was founded in 2004 by John Karlsson, who left Sweden to build the magazine from the ground up in Asia. What started as a small, scrappy project has grown into the magazine the region reads — and it is still the only one of its kind made here rather than flown in. Two decades on, it has never lost the bold, independent streak it started with.
