The internet is filling up with synthetic bodies. SLITZ goes the other way. Every person on every page is a real human being who agreed to be there, photographed by a real camera. That’s the whole brand, and this page is the standard we hold ourselves to.

No synthetic models, no AI “enhancements” that change a body, no face-swaps, no deepfakes. If it’s in SLITZ, a camera saw it. Retouching stays at the level print magazines have always used — light and colour, never identity. This one is absolute: there is no budget, no deadline and no advertiser that buys an exception to it.
Everyone published in SLITZ is eighteen or over. That is not a target we aim at. It is the condition of appearing at all, and there is no version of this magazine in which it is negotiable.
Our standard for publication is government-issued photo ID proving age, and a written release covering exactly what is published and where. No ID and no release means no feature — including for submitted content, and including when it costs us the story.
A model who changes her mind about a feature can talk to us, and anyone who appears in content without consent gets it removed within 48 hours through our report process. We take it down first and check afterwards — never the other way round.
The magazine costs readers nothing and is funded by partners and readers who choose to support it. Models are never charged to be featured.
SLITZ has been publishing since long before this standard was written down, and we are working back through the archive to bring older issues up to it. We would rather say that plainly than imply a paperwork trail we have not finished checking. If you appear in anything on this site and do not want to be there, use the report page — it comes down while we check, not after, and you do not need to prove anything up front.
Readers are drowning in AI-generated content and turning back to what’s real. For models, this standard means a publication that asks permission and listens when you withdraw it. For readers, it means a camera saw every page. For partners, it means a brand that says what it can stand behind and nothing more.
